Meet the Founder

Kim Willemse,
Cloud Nerd

Dutch by birth, but with a Brazilian soul. I started Nuvem Cloud because the sky should be a place of freedom and color, not just cold servers.

With extensive hands-on experience in Azure and AWS, I combine deep technical expertise with the ability to translate complex concepts into language everyone understands. I build bridges between technical teams and stakeholders, making sure nobody gets lost in the cloud.

When I'm not building cloud solutions, you can find me travelling the world, mostly to sunny places, emerging myself in different cultures, experiences that continue to inspire my creative approach to cloud challenges.

The Name

Why "Nuvem"?

Brazil is like a second home to me. While I'm Dutch, I feel more at home in Brazil than almost anywhere else. That connection, that warmth, that energy, is what I wanted to infuse into my work.

"Nuvem" is Portuguese for "cloud." It's a word that sounds as soft and inviting as a sunny afternoon in Rio. It represents everything I believe technology should be: bright, accessible, and full of possibility.
